The Heart Hotel & Gallery Whitsundays
It is no secret that Airlie Beach in our beautiful Whitsundays is one of my most favourite parts of the world. We are so lucky to have such gorgeous scenery in our own backyard!
I have just returned from a short visit up there to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and we were lucky enough to stay at the brand new Heart Hotel and Gallery which only opened in November 2016.
It has been built right in the heart of the main street of Airlie Beach, overlooking the Airlie Beach lagoon and also out to the ocean. It is a 3 level, boutique, luxury hotel which has been designed to reflect a tropical Queenslander type design which is elegant and timeless. High pitched roofs, spacious verandahs, together with timber cladding and exquisite detailing, ensure that the façade is nothing short of stunning.
The hotel comprises of fresh and bright, luxury rooms and suites with Airlie Beach or Coral Sea Ocean and Lagoon views. From the moment you walk in to the reception area which is decorated in stunning marble, you are greeted by a beautiful team of staff who cannot to enough for you.
The restaurant and lounge bar are casual, yet glamourous and sophisticated, featuring locally inspired food and beverages. I personally experienced the gorgeous new restaurant (The Deck) for dinner and it was divine! There is also a boutique art gallery on the club floor of the hotel which features monthly exhibitions from local Whitsunday Artists.
Next time you are visiting the gateway to the Whitsundays, make sure you pay a visit to the Heart Hotel & Gallery. It is ideal for a short stay for those who are looking to be completely central to everything that is on offer in this stunning part of our country!
