I have recently joined MTA - Mobile Travel Agents and I'm looking forward to being part of a great team, with the flexibility of working from home and as my own boss! I enjoy chatting with clients at times that suit them, which being mobile is a big plus for both clients and myself. I also enjoy being able to structure my day so I can have time with my young granddaughters.
I look at travel as an adventure and enjoy turning dreams into a reality - be it a cruise, short break or somewhere off the beaten track. My first adventure into travel was a trip to the Papua New Guinea Island of Bougainville, which was a big undertaking in the 1970's - not many mod cons!
My travels to date include Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Indonesia including Bali, Singapore and the Cook Islands, New Zealand and the small island of Nuie. I have also enjoyed time in Abu Dhabi as well as a river cruise last year from Budapest to Amsterdam with time spent enjoying Amsterdam after the cruise ended. After our cruise we went to Dublin for a few days to enjoy one of the great coastal walks from Bray to Greystone then caught a train over to the west to Ballymote and stayed with friends. We got to explore so much of the west that is off the beaten track that most tourists would never see- it was amazing!
There is so much to share and explore and I love helping clients plan their holidays. Having learnt so much whilst booking remote holidays whether it's leisure, on an island or an adventure in remote outlying areas of Russia I enjoy the whole process - planning with clients and enjoying catching up over a cup of coffee after their travels.
I am mother to 4 children - 2 boys 2 girls and have 2 granddaughters who now live locally. All of my family are great travellers and have been to many places around the world, with the granddaughters no exception!
I have been in travel for over 12 years' working with Vietnam Associates as well as an inbound at an adventure travel company before going into retail for a period of over 8 years with a local Helloworld associate office.

Areas of specialty
Cruising - locally or worldwide. Asia in particular Vietnam, USA/Canada as well as Pacific Islands and Europe. Train journeys including Trans-Siberian, Amtrak, Rocky Mountaineer and Vietnam and the Eurail system and trains in the British Isles. I look forward to helping you with all of your travel needs!
