School Camps – Jackeroo & Jillaroo (5 days)

School Camp:  Looking for something unique!

At Leconfield Farm they cater for High School groups and the program they offer encourages team work, understanding and a bonding relationship with their horse.

Here, students learn such skills as Natural Horsemanship, known to many as "horse whispering", add a few bush skills like sheep health and husbandry and a Sheep shearing lessons, see working dogs in action, and much, much more.

Students will participate in various sessions which focus on communicating with their horse through its own language and creating a unique partnership with their horse during the school. The farm is provided with beds, bathrooms, food and everything else needed throughout the week.

They have bunkhouse accommodation and students will enjoy hearty campfire cooked meals.

A large percentage of the food is home grown on the farm in their organic vegetable garden and from their livestock breed on the farm.
