The Anchorage, Port Stephens
The Anchorage Port Stephens is a beautiful / tranquil place to stay. The view is amazing – un-disturbed views of the bay. When I arrived, I was greeted with a bottle of complimentary wine and dolphins playing in the water right in front of the room. It was just perfect! I stayed in the Master Suite and the room was stunning. I ordered room service which I enjoyed on the private balcony at sunset. It truly was perfect and the meals were amazing – so much so, that I ordered similar the next evening! The location was peaceful, set aside from any hustle and bustle. The on-site restaurant was also perfectly located with gorgeous water views. I enjoyed a beautiful walk along the water’s edge and later went for a short drive to Shoal Bay for a stroll in the shopping area. I would recommend booking the master suite if you would like a spacious area with a beautiful large balcony. It was also great if you have children as there is space to put your child to sleep in the seperate bedroom and still enjoy your time in the living area without being too noisy.
