My Ghan Experience
My Ghan experience started in Darwin on a gorgeous July day. My Gold Class cabin had bunk beds and a compact ensuite bathroom with Shower, very limited storage but enough for two small bags. Cabin was reasonably spacious but given the off-train excursions and the very enticing bar and dining carriage not a lot of time was spent in there. Food was outstanding, very impressive given the amount of space the chefs have to work in, bar and serving staff were very friendly and efficient and tried to remember everyone’s name which
Made the experience very personal.
