Adaaran Meedhupparu Maldives March 2023
Adaaran Meedhupparu on Raa Atoll is a 40 minute fascinating Sea Plane trip from Male. This mature island has it all. Powder white sand, live coral within a few feet of the beach and lush vegetation, so if it rains you can cross the island without getting wet due to the tree canopy.
In my opinion the further north you travel in the Maldives the more pristine the island, thus why I love the island of Meedhupparu. The best things about this island is its size and the lay out of the facilities. It takes around 30 minutes to walk around the island and the double bures that circumnavigate the island are set in a semi circle of 7 so you are deluded into thinking you only have 13 neighbours, where the island actually has 215 villas. The resort features 4 eating areas (International, Mediterranean, Indian plus Cafe) and 4 bars. So being all inclusive with lots of options, there is plenty to do. There is a large pool, gym, kids club, volleyball, table tennis, billiards, excursions, veggie garden, spa, sports club and more.
I went line fishing and caught 3 tuna fish! I loved the music and Meditteranean restaurant! I wish I had more time at Meedhupparu, however I will return.
