Lord Howe Island
Lord Howe Island is located off NSW and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature and the scenic beauty. We visited for our Honeymoon and we stayed at beautiful Capella Lodge, but the island is also great for families and there is accommodation to suit all budgets.
Very few cars are on the island except for the locals and the driving limit is 25km. The best way to explore is by Bicycle, or Capella have courtesy transfers into the small township. Golf carts are also available for hire. If you visit, be sure to do the circle island boat tour and feed the kingfish at Neds Beach. But watch out, some like to nibble your toes too!
