Having just returned from a month long trip to Europe, we want to be on record thanking and commending Julia Campbell for all that she did on our behalf. It was a very complicated trip, involving two previously purchased tours that we had bought before learning about Julia. It involved two other travel agents in two separate countries plus “filler” time between the tours themselves. We turned to Julia for help in cobbling all these pieces together, booking all hotels that were not part of the tours, short air trips between Spain and Portugal, Portugal and France and France and Spain, and activities we wanted to participate in during our four days in Madrid when we were not with a tour group. All told, there were 37 different e-tickets, vouchers, etc. in the package, and Julia was responsible for all but about five of them including the proverbial “planes, trains and automobiles” and activity venues. Logistically there was not one single error made! Where issues arose with a few of our transfers, we notified Julia and she contacted the company and was able to secure full refunds on these before we got home, she made them all right including four refunds on a ride service that had not performed well even though these reservations were billed as non-cancelable and non-refundable. Friends are now asking me how much of a hassle it is to have a travel agent that lives half way around the world from us, given the time difference, etc and we are quick to say that Julia is now the only travel agent we will be using in the future!

We loved working with Julia as she was flexible and incredibly responsive, especially given the huge time difference. She was very mindful of our budget but also wanted us to experience all we could as we didn't know if we would ever return to Tonga. Her recommendations were spot on and the flights were seamless- not my experience when i tried to do this myself. We intend to use Julia's services again as she is a delight to work with! Thanks so much Julia for being a consummate professional! joani and Kevin brown

to whom it may concern. I write this email not because of any coercion but because i believe your organisation should know when one of your travel agents creates a dream trip for her clients. A friend advised me that Julia Campbell was an outstanding travel agent and that she would take all the hard work out of putting together an itinerary suiting us. Julia from the get go seemed to understand our likes and dislikes and though we gave her a sketchy outline , Julia did the rest, which entailed many emails. Julia was so prompt in replying that i sometimes hadn't left my computer before i got an answer to a query prior to departing. Many things impressed about Julia but the standout for us was her coordinating pickups so that we didn't end up having early flights or hotel pickups in the early or late hours of the day. Further to that, the hotels she suggested and the tours were fabulous. All of the above made our trip fantastic and not only will we use her to plan any other trips but i most certainly will recommend her to friends and Family. Regards David and Desi Spiro

Dear Julia, I cannot express enough gratitude for all of your hard work in helping me organise a trip of a lifetime. I have just returned from sailing the Fjords of Iceland followed by a road tour as well. For a first-time sailor it was a surreal adventure. The natural beauty of the landscape, the majestic wildlife and the people I travelled in Iceland with made the experience almost overwhelming. Iceland is such a far flung destination it needed careful planning regarding the access route and return route home. Let me tell you I was so grateful for the well-chosen accommodation along the way. I loved Vancouver, Montreal, Quebec City, Reykjavik, Stockholm, Helsinki and Tokyo equally. The first class treatment I got as a guest in each of these locations was exemplary. I need to single out Hotel Kamp in Helsinki for a special mention. I am a seasoned traveller, however the staff there were far superior in every respect to any counterparts I have come across anywhere else in the world. Iceland is a great place to visit. The people are amongst the friendliest in the world. It may have something to do with the isolation and months of winter darkness perhaps but regardless they do make visitors feel welcome whether it is in their Capital City or a fishing village in the wild Westfjords. The people I travelled with on both land and water made that part of my adventure even more memorable. I am still pinching myself when I think of the concert I attended in Hallefors, rural Sweden. I shared with you that I liked the band Steve-n-Seagulls. You found that they in fact had a concert that I could attend with a change to my itinerary. The last minute ticket purchase and flight changes are still making my head spin as did the three hour drive from Stockholm. Thanks to you I had the best night. Firstly you got me there and more importantly you went well above the call of duty to inform the band’s manager that a crazy Australian fan would be in the audience. I met the band joined the after-party and rubbed shoulders with some really cool local fans of theirs. Like I said, I am still pinching myself. Then when I thought it could not get any better I arrived in Helsinki. What a superb world class city and again the locals were so welcoming. Even with just a little over 24 hours in the city I left with two new first class friends. I drank the best wine I had ever tasted on a yacht in the harbour with an industrialist and architect who apologised that they were going to get me drunk. We even had an in depth philosophic debate on the economic travesty that was Mao Tse Tung’s Great Leap Forward. Have I used the word surreal yet? Tokyo was the icing on the cake. I never could have navigated the city in such a short time span without my Guide. The sights we covered and experience I had were fantastic. The day trip to Hakone was unreal. Thanks to you I have memories that will last a lifetime. Your professional guidance and suggestions during the planning stages were on the mark. I was so grateful to have had a guardian angel on my side to have helped with confirmations and check-ins along the way. The trip did have its hectic moments and I am so grateful to you for that extra special service you provided me. I am forever in your debt. John Dipalo Denham Court. NSW Australia

I can not recommend Julie highly enough. Julia has been looking after my work travel for a while now and has always been a dream to work with, nothing is ever too hard for you. However today's events have cemented the fact that if you're not booking with a trusted advisor - you should be. Having booked some flights many months ago at a fantastic rate, I was forced to make some amendments to the dates, not only did Julie jump on this at lightening speed, she also came back with several options given the cost of the airfare had now doubled. I was ready for the fare difference - after-all, the change in date was my doing - but what amazed me is that Julia wasn't happy with the increase in fare and worked every angle she could until she found the solution that reduced the fare charge to less than half of the original penalty. All this with the most wonderful customer service you could ever want. So if you are looking for someone to take care of business or vacation travel, I can not recommend Julia highly enough.

Hello Julia, We just wanted to send a little note to thank you for your help in setting up the activities for our stay in Fiji. Both the Off-road cave safari and the Upper Navua river rafting were fabulous. The guides were so great, informative and helpful. The day room at the Tanoa International hotel was perfect. Fiji was a wonderful country. Gorgeous, welcoming people and water everywhere. We plan to return and see more. Best, Pam and Lee

Just got home from a FABULOUS trip to Fiji on Wanderlust with Julian and Jim as our crew. Jim certainly is a talented cook (my scale will vouch for that)! We REALLY enjoyed all his meals immensely. And Julian is just as helpful and friendly as can be. Our flight home was delayed 10 hours and they refused to provide us with any accommodations when we called. So, I contacted the travel agent I had used for booking before and after activities since we had 12 hours on each end of our TW trip due to flight schedules, etc. I had gotten her name from something Tradewinds had sent. SHE WAS PHENOMENOL!!! I contacted her to simply find us some rooms for our group of 5 so that we could sleep a bit before our flight home. Instead, she went to bat for us with Fiji Airways to get them to provide us with accommodations and food vouchers. She did not really have to do this since we hadn't booked our flights through her.....but she did even though it took her 3 hours on the phone with Fiji Air to convince them that it was an appropriate customer relations move to do that for us. She even had her husband calling us to let us know the status of her efforts while she was on LONG holds with Fiji Air. In the end, we got 3 rooms at the Sofitel where we were able to sleep for about 4 hours prior to our flight and FJ $50 per person in food vouchers so that we could also have some room service dinner. She had recommended and booked a GREAT pre-cruise excursion to The Garden of the Sleeping Giants where our group got to zipline, have lunch, and then go to the mud baths. She also recommended and booked a GREAT post-cruise excursion to the Malamala Beach Club for us. I HIGHLY recommend this travel agent. Her name is Julia Campbell and her email address is jcampbell@mtatravel.com.au. She can not only help you with Fiji plans but she can help with any other international travel needs. I really cannot say enough good things about this helpful and friendly lady!
