A quick 1 night 2 day visit to Hollywood! We managed to cram in a Stars Home Tour, Walk of Fame, Rodeo Drive & Universal Studios. We stayed at the Hollywood Heights Hotel soon to be renamed the Hilton Garden Inn. It is a lovely boutique style hotel in a very central location.
Other central hotels in the area I would recommend are Renaissance Hollywood, Hollywood Roosevelt and the more budget Holiday Inn. It is easy to spend a full day at Universal Studios and still not see all of the attractions. During busy season I would recommend the Front of Line Pass. Even when the theme park closes the entertainment, shops and restaurants at City Walk (located just outside of the park) continue until late in the night.
