Anaheim Disneyland January 2012
We stayed at the pick of the hotels – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa located right in the heart of the theme parks and Downtown Disney. This was the ideal hotel and location making it every special for the kids. There are also some great neighbour options still very close to Disneyland – Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel and the Sheraton Park Hotel both have great reviews.
We spent 5 days at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park and still didn’t get to see everything! Some of the rides are amazing and worth the hour long wait. Be sure to take advantage of the fast passes – you can get a ticket every 2 hours and can save them up to use in the evening. Disney also offer a photo pass to view on line all the photos taken of you by the Disney Photographers. The World of Color light show and fireworks are spectacular.
My highlight attraction was Alyson doing the ‘Princess For A Day’ at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. You will also need to spend time checking out the entertainment, shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney.
