CROATIA AND ITALY 2011
Everyone loves Italy - and why wouldn't you.. the food the people the architecture - it's one of the most popular destinations with all my clients.
We decided to visit the relatives in Northern Italy, but at the same time wanted some Adventure and take in the beautiful sights of the Dolomite Mountains.
My relatives live on the base of the magnificent Dolomites so why not start our Touring in Milan -
We hired motorcycles and toured around the magnificent Lake Como home of George Clooney and then onto some winding mountainous roads to the Stelvio Pass onto Cortina D'Ampezzo Belluno and Rocca D'Arsie where my relatives live.
We spent some time exploring the towns of Allege Asiago and Bassano as well as spending some time in the beautiful city of Venice.
It was now time to relax and spend some time in the Adriatic... a quick flight to Split, and then we jumped aboard our 45 ft yacht for the next 7 nights cruising the magnificent Adriatic from Split to Dubrovnik visiting small seaside towns, eating fresh seafood and experiencing the long summer evenings on the water.
Days were spent cruising around impressive coastlines, exploring lush national parks, wandering through medieval towns or rolling off the boat into warm, turquoise waters to swim.
