Boston is a grown up city, rich in beautiful architecture, incredible history and possibly most known as the home of the Boston Tea Party.
The creative and interactive Boston Tea Party Museum is a must to fully understand the Freedom Trail.
This pioneering spirit is evident today in the establishment of the Green Way. The Green Way is an incredible and first of its kind engineering & social feat. Where there once stood an eight lane highway, cutting this great city in two... the innovators thought to bury the highway.
Picture a large highway 1.5 miles long, snaking its way through a city steeped in historical buildings, and then replace that image with a green space, fill it with trees, lawn, beautiful gardens and art.
This beautiful and contemporary space hosts daily food trucks, live music, festivals and markets. Playful fountains and a truly unique carousel with characters of native Massachusetts animals provide plenty of joy for adults & children alike!
I loved Boston and look forward to visiting again with more time to explore!
