China

This is a place I will never forget. It was certainly an experience and if you would like to know more of my story you are more than welcome to email me and I let you know more. I was on an educational with China Best Tours to explore 3 large cities China Has to offer.

We visited Beijing, Xian (picture is of the Terracotta Warriors), this in itself was simply extraordinary, and Also Shanghai. Beijing for me was a city full of Smog, roads 5 wide of crazy drivers trying to get from one place to another and pathways of people bumping into each other. No Toilets, just holes in the ground, and a strong odour throughout the city where ever you went.

The Great wall was definitely a highlight of the trip. It was quite cold when I travelled so beanies, jumpers and jackets where a must (February/March). The Great wall is Breath taking and quite hard to comprehend at times. I walked quite a long way along the wall, enjoying the view and hearing different stories along the way. This was almost a full day trip out of Beijing.

A flight from Beijing to Xian where you see more land, crops and animals. This is also the home of the Terracotta Warriors. This full day trip visiting the 3 large sheds which shelter this amazing exhibition is a must when travelling to China.

A flight to Shanghai is where you will see a total contrast to what you have just seen in the last two cities. Shanghai is a massive city, more commercialised. Great Shopping, New Buildings, Sky Scrapers, on the edge of the country. We took a train from the city out to the airport. This is a bullet train. A great experience travelling at over 300km an hour. I would not recommend travelling China independently. A good Coach Tour company is a must. I can assist with some of the best companies on offer.
