Some say that I am addicted to travel but I think that I am extremely fortunate to still be passionate about a career that I love! I’m especially lucky to be able to assist in creating such amazing experiences for my clients as this part of the journey is just as important as leaving home
My love of travel can be blamed on my parents as from an early age we were introduced to exploring our own backyard. We enjoyed annual holidays to the beach which then grew to a road trip to Sydney and then the almighty Gold Coast experience! By the age of 14, I had saved enough money to do my first cruise with my Mum and the rest is history.
It was only fitting that when I left school, I wanted to be part of this exciting industry. The changes since those days have been phenomenal as is the ease of booking far away and exotic destinations, and not to mention incredible experiences that are now at our fingertips.
Over the years I have had some absolutely amazing experiences that I will never forget, such as my treks in Papua New Guinea and Nepal, a visit to the almighty Taj Mahal in magical India,lazing on the beaches of Tahiti and snorkelling the clear waters of the Maldives.
Having experienced many different types of holidays in my life, I can fully relate to the travel needs of solo travellers, couples, honeymoons, families, groups, multi-generational and more recently, mature aged travel. Taking my then 83-year-old mother on an amazing journey back to America and a visit to exciting New York was an incredible experience.
A bonus of living in a country area is that I know too well that some aspects of travel can be daunting. That is why I am here to assist to take the worry about the finer details. Yes, you can jump onto a computer to look up a hotel or a tour or a cruise, but how do you know that this is right for you and the experience that you are trying to create?
