Celebrity Cruises - Celebrity Solstice

Recently I had the opportunity to have a look over one of the Celebrity Cruises newest superliners, whilst in Melbourne.

Upon arriving at the imposing ship it assumes a level of grandeur and magnificence, with the decks of balcony cabins on show.

The Celebrity Solsitice entered service in 2008, and arrived in Australian waters in 2012.  With a capacity of 2,850 guests, the ship is able to cruise at 24 knots, and is 315 metres long and weighs 122,000 tons.

Onboard the Celebrity Solstice are a fine array of venues which have made the Celebrity Solstice the highest rated ship in Australia for service, dining and accommodation in the Berlitz Guide to Cruising and Cruise Sips 2012.

As well as the above offerings the ship offers a 12 Deck Atrium, the Oceanview Cafe & Bar, Cafe el Bacio & Gelateria, Bistro on Five,Cellar Masters, Passport Bar, an entertainment venue, Fitness Centre, Pool Bar, Library and more.  Plenty of ways to spend time and enjoy different cuisines whilst on board.
