Pacific Encounter Test Cruise August 2022
Lucky for me I was invited to participate in the test cruise from Sydney to Brisbane with a few hundred other agents and industry guests.
I have been on this ship when it was Star Princess so I was interested to see what changes have been made.
Quite a few bars were new and freshened up, and dining venues were changed to P&O names like the Dragon Lady (my favourite restaurant on board) and Angelos Italian.
It was just a short cruise, enough to get around and see the changes and play a game of bingo.
Pacific Encounter has great pool venues, with an adults only pool area at the AFT of the ship, spacious main pool lido deck area with plenty of space to find a place of your own. In total 4 pools and 9 spas onboard.
If you haven't cruised before it is a good option out of Brisbane to start your cruising journey.
