Singapore & Phuket
The Anantara is a favourite resort of mine, located 15mins North of Phuket airport and only a 7 hour direct flight from Sydney. The resort is amazing, the rooms and surrounds create a perfectly relaxing atmosphere and each villa offers private plunge pools.
The resort is perfect for honeymooners and couples but also caters for families. They welcome returning guests offering free upgrades and welcome gifts. The resort offers kids club and a great range of activities, an incredible day spa and great restaurants. There is a fabulous tree house cocktail bar and a wine tasting room. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and located in a very tranquil setting. The service and facilities can't be faulted amongst the Anantara chain of resorts. It is definitely worth the visit.
The JW Marriott is located next to the Anantara also a favourite choice of mine. This property is amazing for a family holiday. The facilities, restaurants, day spas, kids club and activities cater for every member of the family perfectly.
Both properties are located approx 40 mins north of Patong.
A perfect stopover is Singapore, it is a fabulous city to visit. For a quick stop over I recommend any hotel located close to Orchard Road. My favourite is the Park Hotel, great for corporate travel or short leisure holidays as it has a lot to offer and is in a great location.
Sentosa Island has a large range of properties which are perfect for a leisure trip.
