Departing Brisbane, the Great Southern takes you south into the rolling hills of New South Wales before stopping for a signature beachside dining experience in Coffs Harbour. You’ll have time to meander through the historic vineyards of the Hunter Valley or explore beautiful Port Stephens by land or sea, before heading towards regional Victoria and Melbourne. Enjoy a mixture of relaxing time on train and immersive Off Train Experiences, before concluding your journey in Adelaide.

Price advertised is based on gold twin share traveling Brisbane to Adelaide and is based on travel in December 2025. January and February 2026 dates available at a surcharge. Offer is also available for Gold Single Cabin and Gold Premium Cabin with surcharges. Block out dates may apply. Price is subject to availability. Special offer includes free return flights, plus one free night accommodation in Brisbane or Adelaide at a hotel of Journey Beyond’s choosing. Return economy airfares and taxes are valid up to the value of $750 per person. Any additional flight costs will be at an additional expense. Flight offers are available from major capital cities including Sydney, Darwin, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart, or Canberra. Flights are subject to airline availability. Flight tickets will not be issued until full payment has been received by Journey Beyond. Amendments to ticketed flights will incur airline related charges and a $50 per person admin fee.
