Travel with Confidence in Uncertain Times

One of the biggest concerns travellers have right now is what happens if global events suddenly impact their trip while they’re already overseas.

Flights can be cancelled. Routes can change quickly. Extra accommodation and unexpected costs can arise with very little warning.

That’s why I’m really encouraged to see travel insurance evolving to reflect how people actually travel today.

A new optional travel insurance extension now includes cover for certain war and armed conflict-related disruptions that occur unexpectedly during a trip - helping support travellers with additional travel and accommodation costs if plans are impacted while overseas.

Importantly, this isn’t about travelling into conflict zones. It’s about giving travellers more confidence and practical support if unexpected global events affect their journey in real time.

Travel should still feel exciting - and with the right planning, support, and cover in place, it absolutely can
