More Information

Day 1 – Tokyo: Arrive at Narita or Haneda Airport. At the airport arrivals area, meet your transfer driver and assistant guide. Private transfer to your hotel in Tokyo City, rest of day at leisure.

Day 2 – Tokyo: Private Guided Touring by Private Coach, 9:00 am meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Drive to Fussa Area (Approx 1 hour) to visit Ishikawa Shuzo Brewery where you can see Kura buildings that were built during the 19th and 20th century where they continue to brew our‘Tamajiman’ sake. Inside the buildings, you will see the beauty of traditional Japanese architecture that has been maintained since first built. Ishikawa Shuzo Brewery crafts both sake and beer.

Drive Back to Tokyo and visit Edo Tokyo Museum or Fukagaawa wa Edo Museum. Followed by Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise shopping street - Tokyo’s downtown area, famous for Local street food. Visit Kimura Glass store famed for its sake, whiskey & wine glasses.

Dinner will be at the Whiskey Library – a special space where they serve over 1200 bottles of different from all over the world and display as a library style. No matter if you are a Scotch, Bourbon, Japanese or other whisky lover. We assure you we can find your favourite whisky here. The food menu has a variety of selections such as home made smoked items, curry, pasta, and aged beef steak...

Day 3 – Tokyo: Private Guided Touring by Private Coach, 8:00 am  meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Enjoy sightseeing in Tokyo, visit Mori digital Art teamLab Borderless - a popular, immersive museum known for its colorful, futuristic digital art installations & photo ops. Followed by buzzing Harajuku, renowned for colorful street art and youth fashion, with quirky vintage clothing stores and cosplay shops. On to Omotesando, followed by a Cocktail Experience and Shibuya sky (for a great view of Tokyo). Head to Yona Yona Beer Works for dinner, this is Yo-Ho Brewing's official beer bar in Tokyo.Yo-Ho Brewing is a Japanese craft beer brewery from Karuizawa, a city in Nagano prefecture. It produces a variety of fine brews like the popular Yona Yona, its flagship ale.

8pm meet your guide for the evening tour. Enjoy an insider-look tour of Tokyo’s Golden Gai nightlife and bar district! Tokyo's Shinjuku district is known for its skyscrapers, salarymen and a time-warped tumble of drinking dens known as the Golden Gai bars – tiny buzzing bars popular with Japanese business men and travellers alike. Each bar has its own flair, whether its crazy décor, hospital-themed uniform, a signature drink or free karaoke. Tour lasts for up to 3 hours. Tour is done by a mix of public transportation and walking. Food, drinks, and return transportation are not included in the price. Please pay for them on the spot.

Day 4 – Tokyo/Kyoto: One large suitcase/luggage per guest will be transferred directly to Kyoto, pack a small bag for 1 night. 9:00am - Meet your guide in the hotel lobby, for a day of privately guided touring by various transportation. Transfer to Tokyo station by taxis and take a bullet train from Tokyo Station to Kyoto (about 2,5 hours).  Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, meet your driver and visit Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji zen temple and Ryoanji temple; followed by Gion, Kyoto's most famous geisha district, or Pontocho. Like Gion, Ponto-chō is famous for the preservation of forms of traditional architecture and entertainment.

Enjoy dinner with a Geisha Night at a Local restaurant (nearby the accommodation, transfers not included). After dinner, return to the hotel.

Day 5 – Kyoto: Private Guided Touring by Private Coach, 8:00 am - meet your guide in the hotel lobby. In the morning, visit Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, shrine of the ten thousand red torii gates. Trekking slight up and down the Mountain; and Fushimi Sake area walk.

Drive to Katanoshi, upon arrival visit a local Sake Brewery for private tour, tasting and lunch – experience with Kagami Biraki. Kagami biraki are celebrations that mark significant events occurring during the year or in someone’s life, the ceremony where a sake barrel is broken and opened. The traditions of kagami biraki stem from more than 300 years ago from the time of the Tokugawa shoguns. Return to Kyoto and visit Sanjusangendo, a Buddhist temple of the Tendai sect in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto, Japan. The temple was founded in 1164 by Taira no Kiyomori for the cloistered Emperor Go-Shirakawa. Return to hotel, evening at leisure.

Day 6 – Kyoto: Private Guided Touring by Private Coach, 8:00 am - meet your guide in the hotel lobby.Enjoy a Zen Meditation Experience.  After the experience, visit Nishiki Market, a marketplace in downtown Kyoto, which is rich with history and tradition, the market is renowned as the place to obtain many of Kyoto's famous foods and goods. Visit an Umeshu (or plum wine) making Shop and Ki No Bi House (Kyoto’s Famous Gin). Then free time for shopping in Down Town Kyoto. Return to hotel, evening at leisure.

Day 7 – Kyoto/Obama: Private Guided Touring by Private Coach, 9:00 am - meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Drive to Obama (about 2 hours), on the way, visit the Old Traditional Local Town and a local Sake Brewery Obama shuzo . Lunch at a Local Fish Market (pay on the spot by guest). Upon arrival in Obama, enjoy a cycling tour visiting rustic countryside temples (guests unable to cycle will go by private coach). Visit places related to Omizuokuri water festival: WakasaHime shrine, Jingu-ji temple (tendai-school, Main hall, Nio Entrance, Wooden sculptures of Male and Female gods designated as National Important Cultural Properties and Unose Park. Return to the accommodation, where you’ll experience dinner this evening.

Day 8 – Obama/ Kyotango: Private Guided Touring by Private Coach, 6:45 am - meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Visit the Wakasa Obama Fish Center, local fish auction with fresh fish and seafood market, before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Drive to Kyotango along a scenic costal road (about 2,5 hours), on the way, visit local Kimono Maker, and Ine bay famous boat Houses that are build alongside the bay. Continue to Kyotango on the way Stop in local villages and visit local History museum. Transfer to accommodation and enjoy dinner here.

Day 9 – Kyotango/ Hiroshima: One large suitcase/luggage per guest will be transferred directly to Kyoto, pack a small bag for 1 night. 8:00am - meet your guide in the hotel lobby, for a day of privately guided touring by various transportation. Drive to Yamazaki and visit Yamazaki Distillery, the distillery where Japanese whisky was born. Drive into countryside Nara and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit a hidden open-air museum, which combines architecture, Art, and Nature into an impressive presentation and a  mountain Temple, with a long history. Drive back to Shin-Osaka Station, to take bullet train to Hiroshima. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
