Cruising Travel Tips (ex Australia)

  • It is essential clients take out international travel insurance even if the cruise is a domestic cruise. Australian medical or domestic travel insurance does not cover medical treatment on board or evacuation to the mainland.
  • When loading the Cruise Card by credit card or debit card, please be aware the cruise company pre-authorises payment and some banks hold the amount for 30 days causing duplication of amounts. Advise your bank prior to departure.
  • White Bay Terminal in Sydney - it is wise to pre book your transfers to and from the airport/city.
  • Children on board - limited number of children and teenagers permitted per cruise. Infants under 12 months are unable to be accommodated. Kids Club - minimum age is 3 years (P&O / Princess). Parents are required to register their child daily and entry is on a first-come-first-served basis as places are limited. Teenagers under 18 must occupy a room with an adult.
  • Suggested Basics - ginger tablets, alarm clock, camera memory cards, ear plugs, USB thumb drive, extra plastic bags, sealed water bottles, first aid kit, sunscreen & hat, anti-bacterial hand cleaner, double adapter, light waterproof jacket.
  • Always take your sense of humour and a dose of patience…
