SINGAPORE – ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST KEPT SECRETS

SINGAPORE – ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST KEPT SECRETS

Long known as just a stopover on the way to somewhere else this small island in the centre of Asia is not only a booming metropolis but a destination full of unexpected surprises and many delights for all ages and budgets. There is the iconic Singapore of the Orchard Road and Marina Bay districts but there is so much more. Cultures from all corners of the globe exist harmoniously and thrive together in a melting pot of colourful festivals, crafts and cuisines that delight all five senses. Chinatown, Little India and the Arab quarter are all wonderful places to wander through and explore. Nightlife abounds from roof top bars to the live bands and karaoke clubs around Clarke Quay. A modern city of towering skyscrapers whose architectural and engineering features are juxtaposed against colourful and compact traditional shophouses. Family fun is created and shared on the island of Sentosa with it’s Universal Studios, Water Park and over 20 other fun attractions to fill your days. Not to mention the famous Singapore Zoo where you can have breakfast with an Orangutan and go on a ‘safari’ at night to meet creatures who sometimes only put in an appearance after the sun goes down. To some, places like Changi and the Lahore Battery will evoke a time in history when this supposedly impenetrable fort was invaded by the Japanese in WWII. And who would have thought of Singapore for a beach holiday but Sentosa Island as well as some of the smaller islands dotted around have great beach resorts, and it’s warm all year round.

Let me show you how to enjoy the best of the Singapore I know and love.
