Set on six lush waterfront acres with breath taking views of the Pacific Ocean, Nakatumble is also a working farm, bursting with tropical fruits, organic vegetables, herbs, spices and livestock as well as freshly caught seafood from our local fishermen.
They also provide fantastic local organic coffee and fresh juices, yours to enjoy. All meals are tailored to suit your individual preferences. Their chef creates menus from around the world that feature the flavours of Europe and Asia whilst utilising local ingredients.
At Nakatumble we talk in 'Food Meters', not 'Miles', with most of the produce coming from our own gardens or other nearby farms. We use sustainable farming practices, and we are the only venue in its class that is 100% powered with solar energy, we collect substantial amounts of rainwater, we make our own biogas and use the 'Deep Litter' method in ouranimal pens to make fertile soil for the gardens.
SUSTAINABILITY is at the core of everything we do. In fact Nakatumble is the name of the beautiful sustainable local timber that's been used throughout the property.
Activities? Goodness there's so much to do right here at Nakatumble; amazing snorkelling, surfing with an experienced guide to show you all the secrets, kayaks, paddle boards, all provided.
Or perhaps a beach picnic at Devils point or a walk thru the tropical forest areas or just relaxing in the rock pools. Or how about a trip around the island of Efateto the Blue Lagoon, scuba diving, game fishing, the Coongoola Cruise and so much more. There are also day trips to other islands to see the Volcano in Tanna, or land diving in Pentecost.
However many of our guests prefer to stay at the property and practice the art of spending valuable time with friends and family to reconnect.
Nakatumble is also an inspiring venue, for an executive retreat or an awesome wedding or eventwith on-site facilities to cater up to 300.
