Madagascar and Lemurs

The lemurs are enchanting, but adding in chameleons, orchids, birds and Baobab trees, we quickly realised Madagascar was a unique destination. The French heritage, rice fields everywhere and South American style clothing only added to the intrigue. Deforestation is a key challenge for lemur survival, but their cute, human-like behaviors soon gets you in and we took the opportunity to learn of the conservation efforts directed at ensuring their survival.
