Rwanda Golden Monkey
To see a unique and endangered species, a Golden Monkey trek is a good precursor to trekking to see gorillas in Rwanda as it is usually somewhat easier but gets you used to the challenge of spotting amongst the foliage. Their beautiful colours and interesting behaviours makes them good photography subjects too.
