Camino de Santiago
Wherever you start your Camino walk, your aim will be to make it to Santiagio de Compostela, a cathedral city in Galicia in the north western part of Spain. However you choose to travel, various forms of scallop shells will guide your way. Whatever your purpose, you have many choices of routes, duration and degrees of difficulty. We chose a lovely, ever-changing walk through Portugal and Spain for our first pilgrimage. Staying in Paradors and taking time to smell the roses, we were still guided by the same shells and arrows every day of our journey.
