On 7 September 2021, Cheval Blanc Paris (a Virtuoso Property) opened its doors.
The hotel is LVMH’s first five-star accommodation in the city. (If you are wondering LVMH stands for the French luxury conglomerate formed from the 1987 merger of the renowned fashion house Louis Vuitton and wines and spirits company - Moët Hennessy.)
Formerly Paris’s historic La Samaritaine department store, this beautiful building has undergone a 16-year restoration and it's re-emergence and opening is surely one of the most anticpated for the whole of 2021.
Overlooking the Pont Neuf—the oldest bridge in Paris, inaugurated in 1607 by Henri IV, the hotel will offer only 72 rooms and suites on 10 floors and will feature 4 restaurants, including a fine-dining eatery and French brasserie.
For those needing a little pampering, the Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Paris will be one of the largest spas in Paris with the city’s largest indoor hotel pool.
