Antiparos - The Cyclades

Been to Greece? Seen the usual sightseeing attractions plus a few islands - Santorini, Mykonos, Corfu but looking for something new, largely undiscovered?

I am always searching for interesting resorts. Today I came across this one in Antiparos, called The Rooster.

Antiparos is a 10-minute ferry from its larger sibling, Paros (which is accessible by flights and ferries from Athens). Both islands are located in the Cyclades. Paros is a much bigger island; more touristy. Antiparos is small, quaint, exclusive and less well known; it is perhaps best described as offering laidback luxury.

The Rooster was built within 30 acres of hills, historical ruins, rocks and sand dunes. It is located above Livadia, a beautiful unspoilt beach. The 16 private houses are designed to blend in and not disrupt the surrounding areas.

More of a retreat than a resort, the Rooster is deliberately understated and discreet. It offers peace and privacy, in harmony with nature.

A short walk down a sandy path takes you to Livadia Beach, which is thankfully free of the usual rows of sunbeds and beach bars. The staff at the Rooster will happily pack you a picnic lunch and loan you a beach umbrella so you can enjoy undisturbed beachtime.

The largely undiscovered port town of Antiparos is a ten-minute drive away and the resort can arrange transfers into town so you can explore the local restaurants, cafes and shops.

If you are looking for quality accommodation in a less discovered part of Greece, this is the place for you.  https://theroosterantiparos.com
