Travel in some way is part of everyone's lives. It certainly has been for me for most of my life and thankfully, continues to be. I enjoy assisting my clients, planning their next dream holiday or business travel. I have travelled to many parts of the globe including the United Kingdom, Europe, U.S.A, Canada, Eastern and Southern Africa, United Arab Emirates, South East Asia, Japan, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand and extensively around Australia.
Highlights of my travel experiences are walking the Cinque Terre in Italy, a 7-night Mekong River Cruise, an Unicruise small ship adventure cruise within the Inside Passage of Alaska, travelling the length of Croatia and an awesome 6 week drive from Darwin to Broome through the heart of the Kimberley.
It is certainly not possible to have been everywhere, however, with over 420 MTA Travel Advisors Australia wide, there is ALWAYS a colleague who has recently returned from somewhere amazing which means up-to-date, firsthand information is always available.
Previous experience
My career in travel commenced with British Airways at Heathrow Airport in London, more years ago than I care to remember.
After returning to Australia and taking time out to enjoy my young children, I joined the team at Trafalgar Tours organizing special group travel to Europe and the U.K. After 5 years, I moved to Group Travel Manager for Newmans Holidays, organizing travel for groups of up to 400 people. Consequently, I am quite passionate about our neighbors across the Tasman – a beautiful country.
Leaving Sydney to travel Australia, I worked in various parts of our wonderful country for Harvey World Travel and Travelscene before settling in Bangalow. I worked for Summerland Travel in Lismore for a number of years, before making the best move of my life to MTA with my own personal office at home in Bangalow.
