Hong Kong - Stanley Market

Hong Kong - Stanley Market, definitely a must do. You can take a bus which takes around 45 minutes (from Hong Kong Island) or a taxi which takes around 25 minutes. A taxi will cost you around HKD120, so not too expensive. The markets start at around 10.30 am and go until 6.30pm. Make sure you bargain and there are good linens, silk ties, scarves etc. plus the normal junk. Once you have shopped, you go through to the waterfront where it is very pleasant with bars and restaurants all with views over the bay.

The drive to Stanley is also lovely as it goes through Deepwater Bay and Repulse Bay.Hong Kong - Stanley MarketDefinitely a must do.
