Geoff, It all went to plan. Jill and I had the best "running away from home" experience. The car hire in the UK was SO easy and we swanned off in a Merc!! We drove from Cornwall to The Angel of the North and had a fabulous M6 experience - a fuel spill left us sitting on the M6 for two and half hours. It was really funny and we had snacks and chatted to all the other punters.The Eurostar was fabulous too - the "International Train Station" made us laugh. A train ride here can last for 2 days and we are only just out of the state!! Thanks so much for all of your help and suggestions.

Thank you for your note Geoff, returned safely and very relaxed , Lots of connecting flights with some airlines able to make it and others not , lost my luggage in Paris retuning Uk but they delivered after three days , the French pushed through the passengers standing in the aisle from the back of the plane I was forced to give them a serve never seen such behaviour. And cannot thank Singapore air enough or not sure shouldn't be criticise , I was double booked on Singapore Brisbane leg , they then asked for volunteers to delay which in my case wasn't an option, however I had right royal treatment upgrade to Sydney airline staff racing me through terminal was on the plane within twenty minutes of my arrival at the terminal. Changed flights Sydney to Brisbane and was in Brisbane 2 hrs plus earlier than my original flight . All in all great trip and cannot thank you enough once again for your organising ability thank you Geoff
