French Polynesia Study Tour April 2017
On Friday, we landed bright and early into Papeete, Tahiti. A domestic flight and boat transfer later, we arrived at our first hotel – Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa.

An overwater bungalow is a MUST! They are extremely spacious, and you don’t need to know how to swim to enjoy a dip off the porch (you can see the bottom!). Since Le Taha’a is the only property on the island, it is very private and relatively untouched – there are plenty of romantic spots and amazing coral gardens.
The next day we were off again, headed to Bora Bora. Oh, and I forgot to mention… we were seeing four islands in six days – talk about an ULTIMATE French Polynesia Experience! Our first stop on the island was Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora…

This modern and chic island resort affords gorgeous views of Mount Otemanu, and all that you would expect from a five star luxury resort (Four Seasons junkies rejoice!). Perfect for a younger clientele, be sure to claim your complimentary pool cabana early on.
Our next stop on Bora Bora was the newly re-opened Conrad Bora Bora Nui. Although it is still technically located on Bora Bora, it is on its own little island with a private and secluded vibe.

Although most Bora Bora hotels cater to honeymooners and weddings alike, this one is especially fitting… Not only does the resort have its own chapel tucked into the lush mountain hillside, but the overwater villas look out over the vast ocean expanse. After our two days on Bora Bora flew by, the next stop was the island of Moorea, to experience Sofitel Moorea Ia Ora Beach Resort.

The rooms were perfectly traditional, the people warm and lovely, and the dining exquisite. Foodies must experience a five-course feet-in-the-sand dinner at K prepared by a two-star Michelin chef, including an oyster tasting and and 21 day matured Galice beef from Spain.
One day on Moorea is definitely not enough! We wanted to stay, but Tetiaroa Island was calling… Our next stop was to The Brando, Tetiaroa Private Island. Marlon Brando’s private luxury estate? Yes, please!
