About Joanne
I have over 30 years experience in the travel industry and have a wealth of experience and knowledge to offer my clients.
I started my travel career in London where I lived and worked for five years. I have travelled extensively through England, Ireland and Scotland and to Europe, visiting France, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Morocco before transferring back to Australia.
I have also travelled to Brazil, Argentina and Peru, The United Arab Emirates, Oman, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, China., Abu Dhabi, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda and Bhutan I have also lived in California and Greece.
I have travelled extensively in the USA including Hawaii and Alaska, and also to Canada and Mexico, Barbados and Bermuda.
Closer to home, New Zealand , Bali and the South Pacific.
Some of my favourite memories are:
USA – The Grand Canyon and Monument Valley, also Santa Fe and Charleston, South Carolina, New York and Colorado.
Mexico – San Cristobal, Taxco, Mexico City and the island of Isla Mujeres, Los Cabos.
Peru – Machu Picchu – visiting here is an unforgettable experience. Peru has so much to offer from cities to the Amazon and to marvel at the treasures of the Incas.
Arriving into Venice at dawn on board Silversea's Silver Cloud was a definite wow factor and a stunning cruise around the beautiful Tahitian Islands with Windstar.
Bhutan - completing the trek to Tigers Nest - a milestone for me and definitely one of my most treasured experiences
Africa - to see the incredible wildlife in their environment as nature intended - simply breathtaking. Singita Lodges in South Africa a must and the incredible Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Rwanda and the gorillas! Africa has a special place in my heart - always wanting to return.
I am so fortunate to have seen Niagara Falls, Victoria Falls and Iguazzu Falls - all a must do!
I have cruised on some of the world's leading cruise lines, Crystal Cruises, Silversea, Seabourn, Cunard, NCL , Holland America, Windstar and a beautiful cruise in Fiji with Blue Lagoon Cruises.
I have so many experiences and as your personal travel advisor would love to share them with you so you too can create your own special memories.
My “to do list” includes, Antarctica, the Canadian Rockies, Tibet, Laos and Scandinavia and the Northern lights, Egypt and I would return to Africa in a heartbeat..
After working with several companies, I decided that I wanted to be independent and grow my own business, doing what I love and found MTA to be the perfect fit.
I love being my own business and with the affiliation of MTA - Mobile Travel Agents I am readily available to my clients so as to give a truly dedicated and personal experience.
The affiliation with Virtuoso, Belmond Bellini Club, Cruiseco, Virgin Galactic and ATAS are paramount for me as a specialist in luxury travel.
I also specialise in corporate and group travel such as school groups, specialist groups such as art enthusiast tours, ballet tours and more.

I have been most fortunate to have attended Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas which is an incredible learning experience to not only benefit myself, but my clients also.
I am often asked which area of the world is my favourite and I cannot say.
All of the destinations I have travelled to I have enjoyed as each is unique in what they offer the traveller.
