Rocky Mountaineer Salt Lake City - Denver
I was fortunate to be invited to experience Rocky Mountaineer's new journey from Salt Lake City to Denver following the Colorado River!
What an experience this was! The train does not have Gold Leaf carriages due to the height of the many tunnels the train passes through but the Silver Leaf experience was amazing. The standard of food and accommodation along the way and the wonderful staff made for a journey of lots of laughs and wow moments with the incredible scenery. Think of movies such as Thelma & Louise, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - all filmed in this beautiful part of the world. Beautiful overnight stops in Moab, and Glenwood Springs - for train lovers and lovers of spectacular scenery this should be on your list!
