Travel Diary

In the last 30 years I have travelled to so many wonderful places. People often ask me what my favourite destination is. This is really difficult question because there are so many and my favourite destination would depend on the type of holiday I am after at the time. I’ve decided to give you my personal highlights of a few of my travels over the years.

Fjord Cruise in Norway, Touring Europe, Haggis in Scotland, warm beer in pub in Cotswolds, Loire Valley Castles, Beaujolais’ in Bordeaux, wandering the beautiful hilltop villages of Provence (France), Munich Beer Festival, cruise on Lake Lucerne, beautiful scenery of Jungfrau mountain in Switzerland, romantic gondola in Venice, drive through beautiful Tuscany. Cooking classes in Hoi An, Hanoi (Vietnam). Great shopping in Bangkok and Bali. Kuala Lumpur is wonderful for shoes and bags. Hong Kong, shopping, sightseeing. Relaxing cruise in the Pacific, Vanuatu is perfect for sun, sand and restaurants. Fiji is great to relax by the pool and the Fijians love the children or perhaps go white water rafting and take a local bus to the villages. New Zealand is so diverse, great, skiing, scenery, culture, train journeys, and only a 3 hour flight away. Landing on a mountain tip in a helicopter with nothing but cliff face and snow around you... exhilarating, jet boat riding with my teenage children and husband... amazing. Landing in the Grand Canyon by Helicopter alone (no other tourist around) breathtaking. Seaplane landing on the water waiting to take us to an uncrowded part of the Great Barrier Reef to snorkel with my family - unforgettable. Climbing to the top of Ayers Rock (a while ago now) what an achievement. ATV Tour through desert in Mexico, horseback riding on the beach with Antonio Banderas (well he looked like him) at sunset with my daughter. Ice skating in Central Park, taking my family (including children who loved it) to the marriage of Figaro at the MET in New York City. Small ship cruising the outer islands of Fiji. A great memory, my teenage daughter been surrounded by the local Fijian Village children all totally enthralled by my daughters iPhone and that they could see photos of themselves on her phone. Portugal what an amazing gem of Europe beautiful scenery, friendly locals, and so much history and all very light on your hip pocket.

I have so many wonderful memories of my travels and am proud to say I have helped create some wonderful memories for not only myself and my family but for my clients as well.

Give me a call and let me help you create your next wonderful memory.
