I was referred to Martina through a close friend, this was the first time I was travelling to the UK and Europe. I was excited, however, petrified of the unknown! I was traveling with my 2 teenage daughters to the other side of the world and needless to say I was a bit nervous! Martina was there every step of our trip, if I sent her a message Martina would respond within minutes no matter what time of the day or night. The places Martina recommended were exceptional, I couldn’t fault any part of our holiday, from start to finish. We felt so safe in our travels. Martina is a very efficient and dedicated travel professional whom I highly recommend. I have used her services for some lengthy overseas trips over the past year when travel has been more complicated than usual due to Covid imposts, changes to insurance policies and unforeseen changes to itineraries. She is calm and retains a warm manner even under pressure. She returns all emails and calls quickly and has plenty of wonderful ideas about what to do on vacation. Martina is extraordinary. In March 2020, she was the pivotal link ensuring I got back to England to see my terminally ill father, at a time when travel was forbidden during Covid-19. The most vital part of a GOOD travel agent is that they are there for you after an adventure begins, when things might not necessarily go to plan. Martina is, without a doubt, the best travel agent I’ve ever used. She is exceptionally efficient and has an incredible knowledge of the world. I adore her bubbly, enthusiastic personality. Her zest for life shines through in her love of travel. A great quality to have as a travel agent! I met Martina through friends and thought I’d have a chat with her about an idea I had been toying with, to take my mother to India for her 80th birthday. It was a special occasion and I had never been to India. All the advice I had been given by friends, was to use an agent and go on a tour. Martina and I spent a week or two going back and forth, and she opened up my curiosity to the country, coming up with some wonderful ideas and unique suggestions. She cemented my decision and we were committed to this adventure. She brilliantly kept on point with my brief and knew exactly what we wanted. And then, out of nowhere, the coronavirus hit the world and it was very clear India was going on the back burner. In that same week, I realized I urgently needed to get to England to see my chronically ill father. Normally I would just book the trip myself. A return trip to London on Qantas. An easy online booking, using FF points for an upgrade. But this time it was different because nothing was certain. Within 24 hours Martina helped me find the best route to avoid Asia & ensured I got my upgrade and the seat I wanted. Within a few days of arriving in the UK, the world looked even direr & I needed to bring my return flight forward to get back to Australia before the borders closed. It was an impossibly tight window with lots of other Australians rushing back home, and I honestly don’t think I could have secured a flight without Martina’s help. She continually informed me of daily updates from the government on looming travel restrictions and I felt secure knowing I had an immediate connection with her through the MTA app. She booked the last seat on the plane and secured a window seat with my requested upgrade. I truly owe SO much to Martina for getting me to England and back again. From now on, whenever I intend to book any type of holiday, I am DEFINITELY going to go straight back to Martina.

Where to start? "Go the extra mile - or 10" seems like a good place. Before the time of Covid 19 Martina secured the best deals in the best places with great attention to detail & was constantly providing feedback. When the whole deal collapsed months later because of the virus, Martina worked even harder to maximise refunds - beyond what was expected. Does it help that she is knowledgeable, informative & well connected? You bet. But she is also a very approachable - a hard-working friend on phone and email.
