Regent Seven Seas Mariner Ship Inspection

I was invited to visit the Regent Seven Seas Marina while she was docked in Brisbane en route from Sydney to Papeete. She then heads to South America before sailing back to Europe for the northern Summer. The itineraries are impressive but the ship is even more so!

Taking only 700 guests, it has all balcony suites and a staff to guest ratio of 1:1.6 so you know that you will be well looked after. The cruise fare is all-inclusive which means that your price includes alcoholic beverages, shore excursions in ports of call and gratuities.

Facilities on board include all your cruise standards - several restaurants, bars, lounges, a theatre which can seat all the guests on board in one sitting, casino, spa, gym, pool, jogging track, boutique & duty free stores, internet cafe, library, conference/card room.

We were treated to lunch on board in the Compass Rose Restaurant. The food was amazing and included a Lobster & Melon entree, followed by Coconut Butternut Squash Soup, a choice of Chilean Sea Bass or Black Angus Beef Tenderloing (I chose the beef and it melted in my mouth!) and finally Chocolate Cheesecake. It was paired with red & white wine from Sicily and we ended with coffee & petit fours. No doubt all the meals served are equally impressive!

I have added photos to my Facebook page so head over there to take a look at this lovely ship.
