More Things To Pack

Following on from my earlier post on what to pack, I canvassed my facebook followers and came up with this list of extra little things that don’t take up any space but can make a huge difference to your trip!

  • Extra memory card and battery for your camera
  • Electric adaptors for the country you are visiting or a universal adaptor.
  • Don’t forget your phone/ipod rechargers if you are taking these articles with you.
  • A fold-up plastic raincoat takes up zero space and will be a Godsend on a wet day…pack a few!
  • Baby wipes…they are amazing at cleaning up spills, stains and just about everything.
  • A pegless elastic clothesline, just string it up twist the clothes on.
  • A door stop was a popular gadget A door stop, handy to prevent banging from loose fitting doors and unwanted entries.
  • Spare plastic rubbish bags
  • I always take trial size moisturisers, shampoo, conditioners and other beauty products or those little give away sachets you get from the chemists or Avon, they can’t spill and you throw away the sachets when they are done.
  • A pack of playing cards
  • A wrap or pashmina, perfect in lieu of a cardigan to keep off a chill and whilst on the flight.
  • If you have the room, a powerboard, so you only need one adaptor to recharge more than one article at a time.
  • A money belt is always handy though a little daggy….safety first!
  • Antibacterial hand cleanser
  • Sachets of washing powder
  • A hook to put over a door for extra hanging space.

These are just a few tips, I'm sure you have many more you can add.  I'd love to hear them so please send me a message and I will update my list!  Now I have to go pack for my next trip, I'm definitely taking the fold up raincoat as you just never know.......!  Bon Voyage!!
