Game Night - Kenya

Giraffes in Nairobi

Visit a one-of-a-kind manor, home to a herd of endangered Rothschild giraffes. “Big dogs,” as some guests call them, poke their long necks through the windows in hopes of a treat. Here, you are guests in the giraffe’s home, sleeping so close that you may even awaken to a spotted head in your bedroom window looking for a kiss. And that’s all aside from the 1930s elegance of the manor itself, with its ivy-covered façade and Out of Africa ambiance.

Horseback Game Viewing

Ride after zebra or alongside giraffe. Pause to watch an elephant family pluck branches off an acacia. Wildebeest graze, only occasionally lifting their heads to check your whereabouts. Your highly trained horses allow you to approach these wild animals much closer than with motorized vehicles. Your horse is personally selected for you, and you can choose from both English and South African saddles. It’s an experience you’ll always remember.

Build a School in the Maasai Mara

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Great Rift Valley, with its rolling landscape and traditional bomas. Rather than just passing through, you are here to work alongside a local family to build a new school that will educate Kenyan children for years to come. But you will learn so much more — from how to fetch water from the Mara River with the local mamas to the art of Maasai weaponry from a local warrior.
