HAWAII 2014
I have just returned back from Oahu and Maui.
Waikiki was as busy as usual but I love the shopping and the excitement of it. Waikiki is always open, full of life and colour. I travelled up to Ko Olina and the North Shore and had a hotel site inspection of Disney's Aulani. What a great property ! Fabulous for families. The pool area is amazing.
I also went to Pearl Harbour which is a must see when visiting Oahu. A full day must be spent there to appreciate the history. I went on the Bowfin Submarine and the USS Missouri. Also located there is the Pacific Aviation Museum which was fabulous.
Maui was just beautiful and I would highly recommend travelling to the other islands of Hawaii instead of just stopping in Oahu and Waikiki.
Hawaiian Airlines were fabulous with the children and they have new aircraft out of Brisbane from December 2014 which will be great.
Consider Hawaii for a bit of rest, relaxation as well as culture, nightlife and great families activities.
