About Amanda
My introduction to travelling and the world began when I received a scholarship to be an Exchange Student in Denmark for 1 year. At age 17, and having never been on an aeroplane, I embarked on a journey of a lifetime, to the furthest place in the world from home and what I know. That year away, shaped me into who I am today and sparked a love for everything travel. So when I returned home I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
After tourism college, I accepted a reservation position at Sunlover Holidays where I worked for 5 years and progressed to Reservations Team Leader. I got the itch again and it was time to relocate to Toronto, Canada and then London, UK on a working holiday for 1 year. I then moved to Corfu, Greece to take up a position as a holiday representative and then after a hotel manager. After returning home to Australia, I worked as the Business Development Manager for Air Pacific. Then after having my babies I worked from home before becoming a mobile consultant with MTA - Mobile Travel Agents in November 2011.
