The Santai Villas, Bali
I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa at the Santai with my family and we had a superb stay. The villa itself was quiet and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the private pool was big. Each bedroom and the living area had their own air conditioner. Having an air conditioned living area was a real bonus!
We inspected the 3 bedroom villas which were equally brilliant however their living area was outdoor with no air conditioning. The outdoor bathtub was like a mini swimming pool, it was so relaxing after a hot day and they even provided bath salts and a relaxing bath bomb made with fresh tea leaves.
The Santai is about 10-15 minutes out of the main part of Seminyak, and they provide a free shuttle into town as needed. Getting back is simple by taxi, and only costs about $5. Breakfast was cooked fresh daily by the chefs and delivered to our villa. The food was delicious. They catered to our specific vegetarian dietary requirements without any issue at all, and we even had a visit from the chef to make sure everything was ok! There was a massage special on while we were there, with a 2-for-1 offer before 11am, and you could have the massage in your villa. The massages were just fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they were always friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend The Santai as a great place to stay.
