Our family of 5 would love to thank Carla for helping to organise our 5 week long European Vacation. Our holiday consisted of Apartments with specific needs, Hotels, Tours, Car Hire and Transfers. The trip went like clock work, everything was spot on and Carla was always a text or phone call away. She went above and beyond to help us with acquiring the best for our holiday. I have never traveled outside of Australia, so I knew nothing. From the first contact with Carla she was professional and friendly. Carla was happy to answer any questions I had, no matter how trivial they were. She had everything planned, even our transfer from the airport to the resort was a quick trip, our travel companions had a 3hour trek to the resort. She was extremely informative and personable. Carla was such a fantastic help from start to finish. She kept me updated while we were overseas on any flight or transfer changes which other friends that I was with, who had booked with other companies did not receive these updates and were left to figure it out on their own so I was very grateful to have Carla! We used Carla to arrange a three week tour to the USA. The itinerary she created was fantastic despite our choice to visit several cities and fly multiple legs. The flight schedule was faultless. We had a few minor hiccups along the way but as soon as we contacted Carla she had it sorted in no time without fuss. We made quite a few changes during the planning stages and she was always quick to action them for us - nothing was a problem. We had not used a travel professional previously and decided to ask Carla Marno to help with travel for my husband Dr Keith Adam and I in 2016. I had known Carla for a short while and felt confident when she described her new role as an agent with MTA. We were immediately reassured by her engaging personality and travel knowledge both international and domestic. Carla developed a 4 week travel plan including flights Train and cruise options for us to Canada, the US and Alaska in May 2017. We were delighted with the detail and personal service which Carla and MTA offered. We were guided through Canadian and US Visa requirements with little effort. Unfortunately, Keith Adam became seriously ill in another Australian city (Melbourne) 2 days before our departure. Carla’s assistance with getting me to his bedside, cancellation, rebooking later in September 2017 was invaluable. We were very stressed at this time and Carla sorted through all our needs and rebooked our travel I cannot speak highly enough of her personal support and assistance during this very trying time. This year 2018, Carla and MTA have helped us plan a major (4 Week) trip in April/May to Ireland with a Conference stop requiring accommodation and she located an amazing 11 day cruise with most attractive fares on the Marco Polo to Iceland and the Faroe Islands. She is always available and accessible and we will certainly be using her services again. We have eagerly recommended her to friends and family. During travel we have found the MTA Application with schedule very useful. It is most convenient to have all of our travel information gathered in one source (although I still have paper copies just in case). Carla has also prepared us well with personalised visit at home close to travel with all documentation both electronic and paper. Let's face it, we all work too hard and increasingly we have less and less time to experience the incredible world around us. So choosing the right travel partner to make sure our travel experience is everything we could have wished for and more, is of utmost importance to us. I hesitate to describe Carla Mano as a travel agent as she is so much more than this. The service is more aligned with a boutique stand alone service. It starts with her in-depth knowege of travel destinations, incredible add-on' s experiences that unlock the true spirit of the destinations in which you visit, detailed itenaries and guidance information so you feel as though she is almost a 'genie in a bottle!' I will explain this thought below. Integrated through the technology platform offered by MTA Travel I had access to all of our travel documents in one place, updates were automatically posted to the Mobile App. There was a messaging service in the App that Carla used to check on your travels and even recommend dining experiences. That connectivity really relates to the 'genie in the bottle' comment I made in the previous paragraph. Carla has guided my wife and I from Scottland through Norway and up into the Arctic Circle and most recently Japan so I can speak from experience. Carla is one of those selfish treasures in life that you don't really want to share with the world. However, in saying that I do want people to experience the world like we have, for I believe travel improves our lives immeasurably! For that reason alone I will share with those of you who have taken the time to read my review, that you have truely come across a person who will unlock the utmost potential of your next travel experience! Hi Carla, I have had a wonderful holiday first to Ireland, The Jewels of Ireland Tour was excellent, CIE Tours were very professional, our Guide/Driver Danny Williams was exceptional in every way both as Guide and Driver. I would recommend CIE Tours. My cruise was everything I have come to know re Royal Caribbean Cruises this being my 7th cruise with them. Thank you Carla for all you did in the lead up to my holiday, I appreciate your efficiency and professionalism in organising my holiday. The MTA app on my IPhone I find very user friendly and a easy way to check information I need. It is very reassuring to know you are easy to contact if I have any issues while I am away especially as I travel on my own. My husband and I used Carla's wonderful services to arrange our driving holiday in New Zealand. Carla had an impressive amount of knowledge and provided us with great advice to ensure our holiday was outstanding - and it was. What we didn't realise at the time was her connection with MTA opened up range of exclusive properties. We were able to stay in some really gorgeous properties that we wouldn't have access to without Carla. And did I mention upgrades? We had some fabulous upgrades thanks to Carla. She made everything so easy for us - and took out the chore of organising it all. The MTA App was perfect for keeping our itinerary - such a convenience!
