About Dianne
After my retirement in January 2016, I felt a void in my life that was there from not working in travel. It has been a passion since my first flight at the age of 8 years.
Since my first job at Ansett Airlines and various travel agencies as a Travel Consultant for approximately 40 years, I have been helping people live out their dreams. Seeing my client's excitement of going on the holiday of a lifetime is my ultimate pleasure and satisfaction to know I have achieved that dream for them.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to travel myself. I can say I have been to every continent in the world except Antarctica.
I love to discover new places less touristy, but at the same time wouldn't miss any of the tourist attractions known to that country.
Planning and booking long itineraries are my specialty, whether they be in the middle of Africa or just a self-drive holiday through Europe.
I am thorough with my planning and organizing your holiday re visa's, passport and the main thing these days, your safety. My training over those past 40 years have been updates on various destinations, GDS (airline computer), customer service and sales.
I love planning itineraries and on securing a booking, whether it be a cruise, resort holiday, self-drive or just a point to point airfare, I do my research thoroughly on prices and just don't stop at the first price.
It is a real pleasure to have been accepted to join MTA Travel, owned and managed by very likeminded Professionals. By joining MTA Travel they have provided me with the opportunity to give my clients (you) a one on one personal service. This means I can talk to you and book your holiday any time that suits you, whether it be midweek or weekends.
Last year I holidayed in Vanuatu, cruised the pacific islands with Royal Caribbean cruise lines and in December had a wonderful trip cruising on the Mekong river in Vietnam along with visiting Cambodia.
Since February this year I have cruised the Mediterranean on Viking Star, spent time in Spain and Italy travelling by train and have travelled to the UK twice, spending some time in London enjoying the sights and theatre.
Over the years, I have been to not only international destinations but also I have travelled to many places in Australia including the Kimberley's, many of the outer Queensland Islands, Ayers Rock and Kakadu, Barrier Reef and travelled the Ghan rail to Alice Springs and Darwin. I have had the most amazing experience of swimming with the Whale sharks and Manta rays at Ningaloo reef, Western Australia and visited many places in NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Previous experience
40 years’ experience in the travel industry is too long to list agencies where I have worked , but most recently in the past 10 years I have worked at Bayview Travel in Brighton and Wings Away Travel in Essendon. Two boutique, respected agencies in the industry that have been in business for over 20 years.
Areas of specialty
I specialise in designing and planning independent European and USA holidays, as I love to explore and discover new places along with the knowledge I already have. African safari's are also a favourite destination of mine. I like to plan all types of resort style holidays, whether it be the Pacific islands or Asia or some exotic island for a honeymoon, family holiday or just a short getaway. River and ocean cruising both in Europe and Asia or just cruising the Pacific.
