Holiday Inn French Quarter
The Holiday Inn French Quarter is in a fabuous location in the French Quarter 1 block from Bourbon Street. Parking is very expensive at $36 per night. There are unlimited in and out privledges. Valet parking is the only option for parking.
The front desk staff were friendly, however a little slow. There is a lovely pool area with pool lounges in the courtyard area. Some rooms have a pool view. The hotel is boutique style and only has 5 floors. The rooms are a large size with king beds and industrial style decor.
They are fresh and have recently been renovated.
The property is on the more expensive side but the French Quarter is an expensive place for accommodation and the location of this hotel can't be beaten! It is 1 block back from Bourbon St about a 2 min walk. Hotels directly on Bourbon St can tend to be quite noisy so if you are wanting something a little bit quieter then this hotel is a fabulous location. It is also only a 5 min walk to Canal St.
There is also a little bar right as part of the hotel which has live music and food. Great for somewhere close to the hotel for a pre drink or nightcap.
