Santorini Greece - That View!

When we travelled to the Greek Island of Santorini in August 2015 we stayed at the Panorama Stuios & Suites. The hotel is about a 20min drive from the Ferry Terminal.

If you have a transfer the vehicles stop at the end of the road and then its a steep cobblestone street about 300m to the entrance of the hotel.

We made the mistake of dragging our luggage up the cobblestone street to the hotel. We then found out that you need to call the hotel on arrival and a porter will come down and take your luggage for you for a tip.

The reception desk is at the top of the street and then you catch an elevator down to the first level and then there are a few steps down to the rooms. We had a loft style room which we found a cute novelty. The terrace we had on our room was beautiful with 2 sun lounges perfect for watching sunsets. The rooms were basic but clean. Small Kitchenettes, TV and Wifi in the rooms. However you are paying for the beautiful view. You even get a view of the volcano from the hotel.
I would not recommend these rooms for elderly people as there is a small ladder required to climb up to get to the bed.

The pool is beautiful and where breakfast is daily. It is down more steps though so make sure your good at stairs.
The staff are very friendly and have good english.

The hotel is in a perfect location centrally located within Fira Town. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, Souvenirs etc.

A Great hotel if you have always wanted that Greek Island view!
