W Times Square
My husband and I stayed at the W for 5 nights. The room wasn't ready when we arrived so they held our bags for us.The location is just amazing for New York its located on 42nd St. Literally 10 steps from Times Square. We found that this location is one of the best in the city. 2 min walk to the 42nd Street subway station. 10 min walk up 8th Ave to Central Park.
We had a corner suite which had a view of Times Square from both large windows.
The Lobby is up on level 6.They are doing a bit of renovations in the lobby area, but there is also a nice bar area which looks more like a nice piano lounge area. There is also a lovely cocktail bar lounge in the lobby area too. They also have cute little nooks where you can use your laptops, have a social drink or wait to check into your room.
The room we had was up on the 54th Floor. We had a corner suite which had 2 views. One of the city and the other right down onto Times Square. The decor is all mirrors and pinks. Its a modern fresh vibe. King Beds and large showers in the rooms. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi.
This Hotel is a good 4 1/2 star located in the heart of times square so it is on the more expensive scale of accomodation however New York is an espensive city make sure to allow a decent budget.
