Xplor Park Cancun

Xplor park is the ultimate adventure park in Cancun.
Early morning start at 6:15 and picked up by experiancas Xcaret about 7:20. We were picked up from the hotel and taken to the transfer site where you change to the correct bus. You are given a wristband and sticker you follow the lines on the ground to your correct bus. It was another hour to Xplor Park. It is all very organised and there are plenty of people around to ask if you need help.
We arrived at 9:30. You are given a helmet on arrival that you must wear all day and a locker to leave all your things in. The park is in the middle of the jungle.
They also sell you the unlimited photo package. You scan your wristband at certain points and can take as many pictures as you want. The package is $59 usd per person. This is one of the parks i would recommend to have it for as you can rarely take your camera with you on a lot of the activities. There are lockers that you have to use for the day.
We did the ziplining first it takes about 2 hours to go the full course. There are 2 routes to do. The first one we did was lower and had a waterslide and 2 water landings.
The second one had a lot higher ziplines being 45 m and 902 meters long. They tell you to do the ziplining first as it’s the longest activity and the lines can get really long.
Make sure you wear your bathers when doing the zip lining as you will get wet.
There are 4 main activities in the park
- Ziplining
- Underground Rafting
- Amphibious ATV Quad Bikes
- Underground Swim
We went and did the amphibious ATV ride. They have 2 tracks all of the tracks are 4.5kms long and have a mix of bridges, through the jungle and into underground caves.
Then we went to the buffet lunch which was included.
It was a large buffet lunch with a mix of foods and very organised. Soft drinks are also included.
The park is huge but there are plenty of sign posted markers around the park to make sure you dont get lost.
They also have a jungle bar also included with fresh made smoothies.
After lunch we went to the underground rafting. They have 2 routes a longer and narrow one or a shorter one. You sit on a raft and use hand thong type paddles. We paddled down through the caves and stalagmites. This route takes about ½ hour.
We then went and did the river swim through the caves. You are given a life jacket and can just laze down at your own pace. The water is cold and you are totally underground.
The longer route also takes about ½ hour.
All of the activities in the park are water based you will get wet on every activity so be prepared to get wet.
You meet back at the dedicated meeting point and catch the bus at 5pm back to the hotel.
If you love adventure and being outdoors then this is the perfect park to visit for a day of fun!
