I have worked in the travel industry for over 30 years with an excellent knowledge of destinations around the globe. Travelled to over 50 countries across all of the continents (except Antarctica!), and have experienced all types of holidays - from indulgent cruising to highly active adventure holidays. Not only piecing perfect locations in Australia and around the world – I love to construct the best airfares to get there! Especially ‘round world'.
Covering much of North America and Mexico , I can provide first hand knowledge of many locations. Last year I spent spending several weeks in north west USA including Montana, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, cruising the Alaskan inside passage with un-cruise small ship from Juneau to Ketchikan. Experiencing most of the major ski destinations in that continent including Whistler, Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Snowmass, Steamboat, Banff and Lake Louise. If you're a skier or snow boarder, I am happy to help you decide between these locations and their competitors such as Chamonix and Val D'Isere in France or Niseko in Japan.
Europe in the spring or autumn is a particular favourite. I have enjoyed railing and driving through Italy and France, Ireland and the UK many times and can advise you on novel itineraries – or just finding a house or villa and living like a local for a few weeks. I have also tackled several ‘adventure' holidays, cycling or trekking through beautiful countryside in Europe and England. Or for the perfect balance between being active and being decadent, I would recommend small ship cruising through the Mediterranean having experienced Windstar sailing.
Other favourites include the game parks of Africa, the wonders of Egypt and the Nile delta, and Jordan - one of the world's most amazing places. Eating in Bedouin tents, walking the sand dunes of the Wadi Rum, floating in the Dead Sea, the magic of Petra. South American favourites visited are Argentina, Chile and Brazil …including a stint in the Amazon jungle.
Closer to home, Fiji … Tahiti… Cook Islands…New Zealand …Bali, great locations not too far away. Cruising down the Mekong from Cambodia to Vietnam, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong and the incredible diversity of China – I can pass on first-hand knowledge to help clients plan these journeys.
