About Karine

I've been addicted to Travel all my life. When I can't do the actual travel myself, I travel vicariously through my clients. So it is important to get it right!

I started travelling with my family when I was very young, and haven't stopped since. I worked in the Travel & Tourism industry from my first work experience job at 16. I have extensive travel experience that I would like to share with you. I have worked in the Tourism Industry for over 35 years [OMG]. I have worked in Retail, Corporate, Wholesale and in airlines.

Q: What can I arrange for you? A: ANYTHING!

I arrange holidays, business and group travel. I have access to a huge range of airfares and have an airline booking system at my finger tips. As a matter of fact – have laptop will [arrange] travel! I can provide economy, business and first class travel. If you are a first time traveller and are a little tentative about travelling on your own I can find the perfect tour, because for some of us there is safety in numbers, and who doesn't love having things prearranged? It is so convenient. The beauty of group tours is that they also provide an excellent social outlet, in other words, you travel with friends.

Alternatively, if you'd like to travel on your own then I can put something together tailored to your wants and needs. What about an individually tailored itinerary just for you, and at a cost that will surprise you? - in a good way. The beauty of using a Mobile Travel Agent is that you don't have to leave home to organise your travel… just call me, or email me and we'll start your next trip straight away.

So what is the difference between me and an ordinary Travel Agent?

1. I have no office and no office overheads. You contact me by phone or email.
2. I have no preferred airlines and operators – I will use the best airline, the best tour operator for your trip.
3. You don't have to waste your time trying to fit in a trip to the Travel Agent. I work when the work needs to be done. My office hours are officially in the mornings but you can email me anytime.
4. In case of an emergency I am available 24/7/365.
P.S. In my opinion every trip, every holiday, should be the trip of a lifetime!

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

Many of the Pacific Islands, most of Asia except the ‘stans, Iraq, Iran. I haven't been to Bhutan but I will. I have been to South America and love Peru, Chile and Ecuador. I have seen lots of Europe, [adore France and Italy] and North America, and some of the African continent – I love Egypt and Morocco. I have travelled extensively in Australia.
I've flown all classes, cruised all classes, I've sailed the Greek Islands and Tonga in a 40' yacht as skipper and crew, trekked the Middle East. I've stayed in every type of accommodation, travelled by coach and train, by camper van and car and even by camel. I've seen mountain lions in Israel, and puma in Chile. So, I can share my experiences with you.

I'm off to VANUATU with my best buddy to share our birthdays - leaving the boys behind! Our own villa with private pool on the beach - heaven.

Then to NICE in the south of France for a few weeks with my mum. For the food, wine, the galleries and the fabulous contryside. We are planning a quick jump into Morocco for a few days at La Sultana in Marrakesh, then a few days at the insane Salut Maroc in Essaouira...

I would love to organise your Trip of a Lifetime.

I've said it before and I'll say it again… I am addicted to the travel and the Travel Industry, and since leaving my teaching position at TAFE I decided to rekindle my Travel Consultancy fire. It makes sense, since I really enjoy arranging travel experiences. I love talking about travel, I love arranging travel, I love travelling itself.
I have been to so many places, and experienced so many things… AND If I haven't been there, or experienced the things you are interested in, then I know where to find what you want.
